Why standings use points per game
Teams in the same division rarely play the same number of matches by any given weekend. A team with 30 points from 12 matches is having a better season than one with 31 points from 15 — raw point totals can't show that. Points per game (PPG) — points divided by matches played — keeps the table fair all season.
Path2Playoffs ranks every conference and age group by PPG and updates the table automatically as results are posted. Clinch and elimination badges show who has locked a playoff spot, and form indicators show each team's last five matches at a glance.
